What are Growth Groups?
Growth Groups are River City Christian’s version of small group Bible studies. Inter-generational groups of married couples and single adults who live in the same community meet weekly (virtually or in a park or backyard) to discuss Sunday’s sermon. These spiritual families provide the opportunity to grow together through prayer and the study of God’s Word. Members also are challenged to be consistently sharing Jesus with those in their “other places” (where they naturally interact with those who are not yet believers).

Are there Growth Groups that are organized by life stage or interest area?
We believe that there is a great benefit in people from all life stages meeting together to study God’s Word. Therefore, all Growth Groups are designed to be inter-generational and open to men and women, married couples and singles. The church offers other opportunities for people to meet in life stage or age specific groups.

No, all of our groups meet in homes and in the evenings.
Can I try out several Growth Groups and pick the one I like best?
We want everyone to feel comfortable in their Growth Group. If you attend a group and feel that it is not a “good fit” for you, we will locate another group for you to try.
