Rooted

Connect to your purpose

Rooted is a ten-week, small group experience for people in every stage of life, no matter where they are in their walk with Christ.

Rooted provides the opportunity to connect with God and the church community in small groups of 10-15 people. Discussions will provoke questions and stimulate spiritual conversation and group experiences will give participants a glimpse of their story in God’s story.

At River City Christian, Rooted is your first step to engaging in “group life.” We encourage you to start your small group experience by signing up for a Rooted Group. Rooted Groups will transition into Growth Groups for those who are interested in continuing in a small home group at the end of the series.

Although exact dates are not available yet, the next session of Rooted will be Fall of 2024.  Watch the Sunday morning video announcements and monthly email blasts for information about sign-ups in late August or early September.  It is suggested that you sign up as early as possible to ensure a space in the class.

When does Rooted start?

The next Rooted small group experience will begin January 21, 2024 at 10:00 in the Chapel.

What is the cost?

$20 per person, which covers the cost of the book, supplies and our end of series celebration.

What if I cannot make it the first week?

Your leader will contact you and give you the needed information.

What if I cannot make all ten weeks?

We understand that Rooted is a large time commitment, but anything worth doing involves a certain amount of sacrifice. If you know you are going to miss more than two meetings, we ask that you wait until the next session of Rooted. We ask that every participant honor the other group members by committing to regular attendance.

Are there scholarships available?

We want everyone to participate in Rooted so if you need help in paying for the registration, click here

Can I share a book with someone?

Because journaling is part of the Rooted experience, it is essential that everyone has their own book.
